Engadine Eagles Football Club (EEFC) is a member of the Sutherland Shire Junior Soccer Football Association (SSJSFA) which includes clubs from Cronulla to Menai (East to West) and from Sylvania to Heathcote (North to South). The association has competitions ranging from the under 6's up to over 45's, including women's division from under 12's and up. Engadine Eagles Football Club was formed in 1961 and our first competition year was 1962 in which the club finished the year as Association Club Champions. In 1976 women’s soccer was introduced to the Eagles with our first women’s side playing. The Eagles new Clubroom was built around 1989-90 as an extension onto the existing canteen. In 2007 the club changed it's name to Engadine Eagles Football club and in the same year introduced a new playing strip. The clubs 14A team won the Champions of Champions in 1978, then our 21A team won the Robertson Cup in 1989 and 1990. Our PL1 team were Runners Up in the Champion of Champions 1990 and 1993 and won in 1994, they also won the Amateur Cup in 1990 and 1998. The club’s senior women’s side won the State Cup in 1991. Our 35A's won the State cup in 2003 and they were runners up in 2008, they also won the Champion of Champions in 2001 and 2003 as well as being runners up in 2002. In 2002 and 2006 the Over 35's won the association over 35's Champion Club Trophy. In the last season (2009) the club had 28 Roo Ball teams and 36 competitive teams. Of these 12 made the Semi-finals with 6 making their respective Grand Final with 2 premiers. There were 1 minor premier. In the 2008 season the club had 25 Roo Ball teams and 41 competitive teams. Of these 16 made the Semi-finals with 7 making their respective Grand Final with all 7 going all the way, of these 7 teams 4 were also minor premiers. Contact Details
